Home, Safe and Sound
As you may have guessed, I have arrived home safe and sound, and am thoroughly enjoying my summer vacation, having managed to survive yet another round of final exams and papers. On top of it, I had to say goodbye to Nick, who is leaving to study in China for a year. I cried for about 24 hours straight. Seriously.
Anyway, I don't really feel like rehashing those last few days at school, so I'll skip to the present. Lococo Bash 2005 was a lot of fun tonight - it was good to see everyone all together in one place. Then my cousins and I (Mike, Nat and Joel, minus Julia), on a rare cousin outing, all went to go see the movie Sahara, which was one of the very best silly blow-em-up-shoot-em-up action movies I've ever seen. Thoroughly fun and entertaining. Really - great film. Go see it if you're looking for a good time. Good acting all around, funny writing, good action and suspence. Really, everything you're looking for in a big-budget H'wood action film. So, it was a really fun night, and it feels good to be home.

All By Myself . . .
Helllllooooo???? Is there anybody out there??? Gosh, it's quiet around here. It's quite late (note the time of the post), and I've just passed the 4700 word mark. I am in the process of concluding the draft, and shall not go to bed until I have finished. But it's awful lonely . . .
