What I Learned While Working at the Library Today
If your last name is Robertson, you cannot name your son Robert. If your last name is Johnson, you cannot name your son John (or even Jonathan). If your last name is Williamson, you cannot name your son William.

Shoutcast
This post is dedicated to Kara, as by reading her blog I discovered Shoutcast. It's this amazing site that connects you to online radio broadcasts. Who knew that there were stations completely devoted to film scores??? 100% of the time - just film scores! I'm in heaven! Thanks for the enlightenment Kara - as well as the significantly improved audio environment!

Long Time No Blog
I'm back! (Ok, Barb?) I took a blogging hiatus over Spring Break, mostly because my computer at home wouldn't let me log in to my Blogger accout, but also because I was too busy sleeping. It was a wonderful break! Lots of rest, good food, friends, family, fun times. I went back to Sweet Home to see the musical (surprisingly good), threw mom the biggest, bestest surprise party ever - along with week-long birthday festivities (inclusing decorating her classroom at school), went to visit Al for a few days (yea!), and read, read ,read, read, read. Dinner at Flying Tigers with the 'rents and Nana was fun too. Then the three hour delay at the airport (waiting for a pilot who sucks at flying planes) and the flight from hell into Hartford. But it's great to be back here! I am reminded how much I absolutely love it here. This is where I belong. Our BC reunion was fabulous, the sun is shining (even if it is still freezing, but NO MOM - THERE'S NO SNOW ON THE GROUND HERE!) Thanks to Aunt Toni for the fabulous food she sent me off with - saved me from starvation on a very long trip back (which would have been a lot worse on an empty stomach). Thanks to Nana for supplying me with the funds to fuel my caffine addiction. And a very special late thank you to my father, who was the whole reason I got to go see the LOTR concert in Montreal - he drove a marathon to get me there, and I am forever grateful - thanks daddy!
And Happy Birthday to Hayden! My (assumably) not so very tiny anymore cousin turned a fabulous one year old this week. Live it up kiddo!

Oscars
And of course, Lord of the Rings won everything. Was there ever any doubt? I'm so pleased. Here are some cute pics: Sean and Billy, Dom and Elijah, Howard Shore.
